Chapter 2

Posted by Shannon Hughes on

Well guys, I think it's safe to say that I'm officially in the next chapter of this book that I call Nine 16 Designs. What does that mean? I'm here to tell you. Over the last year, I've gone back and forth with this business. I've changed my mind about a million times about where I want it to go, what I want it to be, and even toyed with the idea of selling it, and just being done. (Twins, man..they take up a lottttttt of time). BUT! I've always come back to the fact that I absolutely love connecting...

One Year Ago

Posted by Shannon Hughes on

This morning, at 4 am, while I was wide awake because my 6 month old daughter was wide awake, I was scrolling through my FB memories and realized that one year ago today, we announced our pregnancy with 'the world'. It's a real medical issue, and it is one of the hardest blows when you hear those words from a doctor.  "You might not be able to naturally conceive a child." Cue all the tears. So, for those of you who personally know...

All the updates!

Well! My plan to document the rest of my IVF journey/pregnancy etc. definitely FAILED! In my last post, we were just switching doctors, and preparing for our second attempt at an IVF transfer. Now, just over a year later, I'm sitting here at home, with TWO perfect little babies sleeping next to me. <3  Let me try and put it in a nutshell, because if  you follow us on social media, I'm sure you've already seen all these little updates. We met with Dr. Abuzied, changed up the plan, had a couple procedures, and did a lot of waiting/healing. In...
